![]() ![]() Rhodes 73., Again I have to agree 100% with Music man about the Rhodes 73 and it's lack of balls, In a comparison - my Sonic Couture Rhodes knocked the Arturia version way outta the ballpark. , well lets just say I was lucky I hadn't had my dinner yet as I would have vomited up a good meal - IMO I found the piano sounds that atrocious I would even want them as a freeby. , give me a few good sounds over a million weak ones anyday. This was my first thought straight away, then afterwards, to compare - I had a play on my UVI hammond (from Retro Organ Suite) and then it really sunk home how wimpy sounding the Arturia Hammond sound really was.Įven though the UVI is nowhere as tweakable as the Atruria B3. , no BALLS, I totally agree on that one. Here is where our thoughts were identical. I Really enjoyed (and want) the Farfisa too, but that was more because of my love for music from that era and I dont have anything else to top it (Farfisa wise) ![]() I was getting inspired to even start writing tunes just listening to the preset sounds alone. ![]() I Loved the Synclavier and only got through1/2 of the presets and was hooked. Sorry to keep quoting you :o but again have spoken exactly what I was just thinking myself after a few hours mucking around with the new Arturia instruments in Analog lab 2. Arturia probably isn't allowing discount yet but I'd be willing to bet we'll see one towards the end of the year. Let's put it this way - the stock pianos that come with PT are better :rolleyes:Īs to the $30 coupon at AD - that's only a gimmick that locks me into another purchase at AD I may not make and I'd rather have a straight discount off the top on the VC5 upgrade. It's hurts my ears even just playing them. I'm not knocking modeled pianos as there are a couple out there that are fantastic but these - not so much. And the acoustic pianos are also a waste - they're modeled and not sampled. ![]() B3 emulation - no balls behind the sound and it's missing the bass pedalboard. Got to work with the new stuff and to me there's only two that really stand out as usable and that is the Synclavier and Farfisa. Thankfully Analog Laboratory 2 was a free upgrade save for the well over an hour download on Verizon FIOS. Note however that Spark2 is NOT in VC5 anymore. Same here - all those were in the VC4 collection I purchased last year. These are normally (all) included in the V-Collection 4. Which 4 instruments in 5 were not included in 4 (apart from the new ones obviously)? ![]()
